Every camp is carefully planned to combine quality coaching and time on the course with opportunities to explore St Andrews, enjoy activities, relax and, most importantly, make new friends from around the world.

Our coaching sessions at St Andrews Links Academy include structured group lessons designed to refine key skills, introduce new techniques, and prepare juniors for the unique challenges of Scottish links golf. All coaching takes place in a fun, supportive environment that encourages learning, confidence, and development.
For our golf camp juniors, the Baird Course in Elie, Fife is the perfect first introduction to Scottish links golf. This charming 9‑hole, par‑32 course, measuring around 2,080 yards, has a rich history dating back to 1889, when it first became a beloved venue for golfers of all ages. With undulating fairways, well-kept greens, and stunning views over the Firth of Forth, it offers a delightful, walkable links experience that gives young golfers a true taste of links-style play.
Ideal for developing short-game skills, course strategy, and shot-making, the Baird Course provides a friendly, fun, and confidence-building environment where campers can enjoy real links golf without the length or pressure of a full championship layout. Its relaxed yet rewarding design, combined with over a century of golfing heritage, makes it a memorable part of any Scottish golf experience and a fantastic complement to other courses in the area.
PizzaExpress offers our campers a fun and relaxed dining experience, with delicious pizza options made using fresh ingredients and authentic recipes. With its welcoming atmosphere, it’s the perfect place for juniors to unwind and enjoy a meal together in town.
A highlight of the visit is a tasty serving of their famous Dough Balls to start, followed by a choice of pizzas to suit every appetite, a guaranteed camp favourite!
Our second day of coaching will focus on refining and improving technique, now that we’ve had the chance to get to know you a little better. Expect plenty of fun challenges, games, and competitive activities alongside focused skill development.
Strathtyrum is an 18‑hole links golf course at St Andrews Links, designed by Donald Steel and opened in 1993 to complement the more demanding championship layouts in the “Home of Golf.” It plays as a par‑69 over about 5,620 yards, with wide fairways, relatively few bunkers, and large, gently contoured greens that reward thoughtful iron play and accuracy rather than length.
Ideal for juniors and developing players, Strathtyrum offers a welcoming but still challenging introduction to true Scottish links golf. Its layout encourages players to learn strategic course management and short‑game finesse in a setting that’s less intimidating than some of St Andrews’ more famous courses, making it a perfect venue for both practice and friendly competition during camp.

Campers can enjoy a relaxed meal at Carlucci Ladybank, where delicious Italian cuisine meets a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. With scenic views over Ladybank Golf Club, juniors can dig into homemade pasta, pizza, and other tasty dishes while sharing stories from the day. Seasonal events and themed nights add an extra touch of fun, making it a memorable dining stop during camp.
One morning of camp is all about relaxing and exploring at your own pace. Juniors can sleep in, enjoy a bit of shopping, take a stroll along the stunning beaches, or wander through the historic streets of St Andrews. The morning will be guided by the group in consultation with their leaders, so everyone can tick all the boxes they want and make the most of their own St Andrews experience, a perfect chance to recharge and enjoy the town outside of golf.
Campers can experience the excitement of Blown Away Surf School, and Watersports, a fun group beach event that lets them be with their friends while trying new skills or revisiting old ones on the beautiful West Sands beach in St Andrews. Blown Away is one of Scotland’s most established outdoor activity providers on West Sands, offering activities like landyachting, beach kayaking, stand‑up paddleboarding and surfing right on the sand and in the sea.
Sessions are run by fully qualified, instructor‑led teams in a safe, supervised environment, with all the necessary equipment provided for watersports and beach activities.
Set against the stunning coastline, it’s a brilliant way to splash about, have fun with friends, and enjoy some non‑golf adventure on one of Scotland’s most iconic beaches, a memorable part of the camp week!
After a day on the course, campers can unwind at Tailend Restaurant, where fresh, locally sourced seafood takes center stage. While the restaurant is famous for its traditional fish and chips, the menu also offers plenty of other options to suit younger tastes and varying appetites. With a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service, it’s the perfect spot for juniors to refuel and enjoy a delicious meal, all while experiencing one of St Andrews’ standout dining destinations.

These coaching sessions at the Links focus on refining technique, improving consistency, and applying skills in a more game-realistic setting. Juniors will also benefit from individual feedback, including video analysis sessions, helping them clearly understand what to work on and how to keep progressing with confidence.
The Eden Course at St Andrews Links is a classic 18‑hole Scottish links golf course first opened in 1914, designed by renowned architect Harry S. Colt and later adapted by Donald Steel.
Measuring around 6,250 yards with a par of 70, Eden runs along the Eden Estuary and offers juniors a true taste of links golf that’s slightly more approachable than some of the seaward championship layouts, yet still full of character and challenge. Its undulating greens, strategically placed bunkers and tricky par‑3s reward accuracy and thoughtful shot‑making—making it ideal for developing players working on all aspects of their game.
Eden also boasts picturesque views over the estuary and surrounding Fife landscape, giving our juniors a memorable experience that blends links strategy with scenic inspiration. Perfect for camp rounds, skills sessions, and building confidence in a real links environment, it’s a fantastic venue for young golfers to refine their skills and enjoy Scotland’s rich golfing heritage.

For our golf camp juniors, playing at the Buddon Course offers a wonderful chance to experience classic Scottish golf in a more accessible yet still inspiring setting. Originally designed by Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas and opened for play in 1981, the Buddon Course has evolved over the years, with enhancements that now see it play to around 5,900 yards with a par of 68.
Set on the same stunning links terrain as Carnoustie’s more famous layouts, Buddon combines traditional links features, including wide fairways and coastal views, with elements of heathland and parkland that create variety and strategic interest throughout the round. Each hole is named after historic battles in recognition of the course’s connection to the nearby Ministry of Defence land on which it sits.
For our campers, Buddon is a fantastic stepping stone into true links golf, blending enjoyable playability with thoughtful shot‑making and memorable scenery. It’s a perfect venue to build confidence, work on strategy and enjoy one of Scotland’s great golf experiences without the intimidation of a full championship test.
Our visit to The New Golf Club gives juniors the chance to celebrate a fantastic week of golf, enjoy a special meal, and get dressed for the occasion. It’s the perfect way to reflect on their achievements, share stories, and enjoy some well-earned fun in a memorable setting.
The New Golf Club offers stunning views of the golf course, making it a delightful dining destination. Our juniors can enjoy a locally sourced seasonal menu in a welcoming atmosphere complemented by attentive service. With a rich history dating back to 1780, it combines tradition with contemporary cuisine for a unique experience.
