Every camp is carefully planned to combine quality coaching and time on the course with opportunities to explore St Andrews, enjoy activities, relax and, most importantly, make new friends from around the world.

While exact timings, activities and golf courses may vary between programmes and from year to year, this gives you an authentic feel for the pace, variety and experience of a week at St Andrews Golf Camp.

Competing on the Balcomie Links at Crail Golfing Society is a truly special experience, steeped in history and played against one of Scotland’s most breathtaking coastal backdrops. Designed by the legendary Old Tom Morris in 1895, the Balcomie Course is the club’s original and most celebrated layout, hugging the rugged shoreline of the North Sea.

This competition day offers players the rare honour of testing their game on a classic links course where natural undulations, firm fairways, and ever-changing coastal winds demand creativity and control. With dramatic sea views on nearly every hole and the iconic stretch along the cliffs, Balcomie is widely regarded as one of the finest traditional links experiences in the world.

To take part in a competition here is more than just a round of golf, it’s a chance to walk in the footsteps of generations, to embrace the traditions of the game, and to compete in a setting that captures the very essence of Scottish golf.

Our coaching sessions at St Andrews Links Academy include structured group lessons designed to refine key skills, introduce new techniques, and prepare juniors for the unique challenges of Scottish links golf. All coaching takes place in a fun, supportive environment that encourages learning, confidence, and development.

At Zizzi St Andrews, campers can enjoy a fun and relaxed meal with friends after a busy day on or off the course. With a vibrant atmosphere, stylish interiors, and local art on display, it’s the perfect spot to share stories, refuel, and enjoy a delicious Italian menu. There’s something for everyone, including vegan, gluten-free options, and a kids’ menu, making it a favourite stop during camp.

Our second day of coaching will focus on refining and improving technique, now that we’ve had the chance to get to know you a little better. Expect plenty of fun challenges, games, and competitive activities alongside focused skill development.

Our one‑hour interactive session dives into the essentials of fueling for golf. Campers will learn how proper nutrition impacts energy, focus, and performance on the course, plus practical tips for meals and snacks that keep them playing their best during long rounds. Fun, engaging, and packed with advice to help every young golfer hit the fairways at full strength.

Nestled in the stunning Fife countryside, Craigtoun Golf Course - formerly known as The Dukes - offers an unforgettable setting for junior golfers. With its sweeping fairways, challenging bunkers, and breathtaking views across St Andrews, and the North Seas, this course provides the perfect backdrop for our golf camp. Whether working on swing techniques, course management, or competitive play, campers will experience a course that is as inspiring as it is rewarding, helping them develop their game while surrounded by Scotland’s iconic scenery.

At St Andrews Links Craigtoun Clubhouse, campers and families can enjoy breathtaking views over St Andrews and the surrounding coastline while refueling after a day on the course. The clubhouse offers a welcoming space with dishes made from fresh local ingredients, including traditional Scottish favorites. Perfect for young golfers, it’s also home to an on-site shop with equipment and merchandise, giving campers everything they need to celebrate their golf journey and enjoy the rich history of the game in this iconic area.

The Eden Course at St Andrews Links is a classic 18‑hole Scottish links golf course first opened in 1914, designed by renowned architect Harry S. Colt and later adapted by Donald Steel.

Measuring around 6,250 yards with a par of 70, Eden runs along the Eden Estuary and offers juniors a true taste of links golf that’s slightly more approachable than some of the seaward championship layouts, yet still full of character and challenge. Its undulating greens, strategically placed bunkers and tricky par‑3s reward accuracy and thoughtful shot‑making—making it ideal for developing players working on all aspects of their game.

Eden also boasts picturesque views over the estuary and surrounding Fife landscape, giving our juniors a memorable experience that blends links strategy with scenic inspiration. Perfect for camp rounds, skills sessions, and building confidence in a real links environment, it’s a fantastic venue for young golfers to refine their skills and enjoy Scotland’s rich golfing heritage.

With a few days of training under their belts, it’s time to ramp up the learning and refinement. Today will focus on on-course challenges, skills competitions, and bunker practice, giving juniors the chance to sharpen their short game while enjoying plenty of fun and friendly competition.

A one-hour session focused on preparing for success before you step on the course. Campers will learn how to use technology, course guides, and pre-planned strategies to remove the guessing game and make confident decisions during play. This practical talk teaches smart, efficient preparation, helping golfers focus fully on performance and execute their plan with clarity under tournament conditions.

PizzaExpress offers our campers a fun and relaxed dining experience, with delicious pizza options made using fresh ingredients and authentic recipes. With its welcoming atmosphere, it’s the perfect place for juniors to unwind and enjoy a meal together in town.

A highlight of the visit is a tasty serving of their famous Dough Balls to start, followed by a choice of pizzas to suit every appetite, a guaranteed camp favourite!

Strength & Conditioning – A practical session designed to prepare the body for tournament play. Campers will learn warm-up routines, activation exercises, and dynamic stretching that boost swing mechanics, power, and endurance. This session focuses on performance-ready techniques to help golfers move efficiently, reduce injury risk, and feel confident on the course.

The University of St Andrews runs one of the UK's most respected university golf programmes, with student-athletes competing in national and international competitions while pursuing a world-class education. The university has kindly invited our campers to attend an introduction to its golf programme and study opportunities, providing an insight into what it is like to learn and compete at the Home of Golf. For many young golfers, this may spark an interest in combining their passion for golf with future academic ambitions in this unique and inspiring setting.

As part of the visit, campers will take part in a golf-specific strength and conditioning session at the university's excellent sports facilities, working with coaches connected to the performance golf programme. The university has also offered students and families the opportunity to book a more detailed session consisting of a presentation and a student-led tour. By the middle of the week, our juniors have built a strong foundation, making this the perfect time to compound and consolidate learning. These coaching sessions at the Links focus on refining technique, improving consistency, and applying skills in a more game-realistic setting. Juniors will also benefit from individual feedback, including video analysis sessions, helping them clearly understand what to work on and how to keep progressing with confidence.

A true gem along the Fife coastline, Kingsbarns Golf Links offers stunning sea views, natural dunes, and a championship layout that challenges and delights golfers of all levels. Known for its immaculate conditioning and dramatic finishing holes, Kingsbarns provides an unforgettable links experience and is a highlight on any St Andrews golf itinerary.

After a day on the course, enjoy the charm of Kingsbarns Golf Links with its stunning coastal views and relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The seasonal menu features locally sourced ingredients, providing a delicious and nourishing meal for our junior golfers. It’s the perfect spot to refuel, unwind, and soak in the spectacular surroundings between rounds.

This session will concentrate on refining short game skills, including chipping, pitching, and bunker play, as well as putting techniques. Juniors will work on precision, control, and consistency, all in a fun and supportive environment designed to build confidence and improve scoring around the greens.

Set high on the cliffs above St Andrews Bay, The Castle Course delivers one of the most dramatic rounds in Scotland. Designed by David McLay Kidd and opened in 2008, it is the newest course in the St Andrews Links portfolio, a bold modern addition to the Home of Golf.

With sweeping North Sea views, dramatic elevation changes and exciting risk-reward holes, it challenges our campers to think creatively and play with confidence. Expect big skies, rolling fairways and unforgettable par-3s, a fun but testing round that builds resilience and smart course management skills in true St Andrews style.

At Rock & Spindle, located at The Castle Course and part of St Andrews Links Trust, junior golfers can enjoy a relaxed and welcoming dinner in a truly spectacular setting. Perched high on the cliffs, the restaurant offers panoramic views over the rugged coastline and the North Sea, some of the most dramatic scenery in St Andrews.

The menu features fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with a range of wholesome options ideal for refuelling after a day on the course. With its friendly atmosphere and breathtaking views, dinner at Rock & Spindle is a memorable experience for junior golfers, perfectly combining great food with the beauty of Scotland’s coastline.

On the final day, we will cement everything learned throughout the week. Juniors will have the chance to review skills, ask questions, and take part in fun games and challenges, bringing together all aspects of their coaching in an enjoyable and rewarding way.

Dumbarnie Links is one of Scotland’s most exciting modern links courses. Opened in 2020 and designed by renowned architect Clive Clark. Instead of the classic out-and-back layout, the routing mixes sweeping loops and elevated tees that frame stunning views over Largo Bay and the Firth of Forth, with 14 of 18 holes taking in water scenery.

Set on ancient sandy links land on the historic Balcarres Estate, Dumbarnie challenges and delights with risk-and-reward holes, driveable par-4s, generous fairways and large greens that suit players of all levels.

In just a few years it’s garnered global attention, hosting the 2021 Women’s Scottish Open, winning “World’s Best New Golf Course 2021,” and racking up awards for design and experience.

For our campers, Dumbarnie is a must-play blend of seaside drama, thoughtful course design and unforgettable views, a perfect complement to the classics of St Andrews golf.

After a great day on the course, our campers can relax and refuel at the clubhouse at Dumbarnie Links. With stunning views across the Firth of Forth, it’s the perfect setting to unwind, share stories from the round, and enjoy a well-earned meal together. The welcoming atmosphere and quality food make it a real highlight of the day, rounding off the full Dumbarnie experience both on and off the course.

Day 1 of the Junior Tour Scotland begins with an exciting and prestigious 36-hole strokeplay event at the historic Royal Musselburgh Golf Club, one of the oldest golf clubs in the world, dating back to 1774.

This two-day European-ranked tournament brings together some of Scotland’s finest young golfers, creating a highly competitive and inspiring environment. Played over 36 holes, the strokeplay format tests consistency, focus, and resilience, providing a true measure of each player’s all-round game.

The event carries significant prestige within the junior game, with past competitors progressing to elite amateur levels and beyond. Many have gone on to represent their countries in major team events such as the Walker Cup and Curtis Cup, while others have advanced into the professional ranks and competed on some of golf’s biggest stages, including The Open Championship.

Competing at Royal Musselburgh is more than just a tournament, it’s an opportunity to test your game against top-level peers, experience tournament golf at a historic venue, and take part in an event that has helped shape the journeys of some of the game’s future stars.

A popular choice with our juniors, Nando’s St Andrews is the perfect spot to refuel after a day of training and golf. With its relaxed, lively atmosphere and friendly service, it’s ideal for campers looking for a tasty and reliable meal. Alongside its famous flame-grilled peri-peri chicken, there are also healthier grilled chicken options and a great selection of sides to suit all tastes, making it a great dining choice for groups during camp week.

Day 2 of the competition at Royal Musselburgh Golf Club is all about finishing strong and making the most of the experience. With the final round underway, players have the chance to build on their first-day performance, stay composed under pressure, and give their best right to the final putt.

Beyond the competition, it’s also a moment to take it all in, playing on such a historic course, competing against top junior talent, and enjoying the challenge. Whether chasing a score or simply embracing the occasion, Day 2 is about resilience, learning, and reflecting on a memorable tournament experience.

After a day on the course, campers can unwind at Tailend Restaurant, where fresh, locally sourced seafood takes center stage. While the restaurant is famous for its traditional fish and chips, the menu also offers plenty of other options to suit younger tastes and varying appetites. With a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service, it’s the perfect spot for juniors to refuel and enjoy a delicious meal, all while experiencing one of St Andrews’ standout dining destinations.

Post-Tournament Coaching & Reflection – This session gives campers a chance to reflect on their tournament, ask questions, and debrief on performance. It’s also an opportunity to learn new skills, further develop links techniques, and consolidate everything practiced during the week. Campers will work on setting goals, identifying key points for improvement, and taking this knowledge forward to continue performing confidently in future competitions.

Jubilee Course

Opened in 1897 to mark Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee, the Jubilee Course was originally laid out by Old Tom Morris and later refined by architect Donald Steel. Once considered the “Championship Course” of its day, it is now widely regarded as the most challenging of the seven St Andrews Links courses.

For our golf camp participants, the Jubilee provides a true championship test. With narrow fairways, deep revetted bunkers, fast greens and its exposed coastal setting alongside the North Sea, it demands accuracy, smart decision-making and resilience in the wind. Playing the Jubilee gives our juniors an authentic links experience in a setting steeped in golfing history — just moments from the heart of St Andrews.
